Amanda Duesing's Last Trip

Chile & Peru

I spent four nights at Explora Atacama, where I hiked through gorgeous landscapes, rode horseback in the sand dunes, learned about the southern night sky, and tasted fantastic Chilean wine. Next, I stayed one night at Belmond Miraflores Park and had a tuna ceviche at their restaurant Tragaluz that I will never forget. At the end of my journey, I spent three nights at Explora Valle Sagrado, where I saw archaeological wonders such as Moray and Machu Picchu, experienced traditional song and dance, and met some amazing people.
