Amtul Farooqui's Last Trip

Russia

On a recent trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg, I fell in love with Russia’s rich history and beautiful architecture, as well as the fabulous art, music, and ballet. This is an incredible trip, especially for culture enthusiasts. In Moscow, I stayed at the Four Seasons, just steps from the Kremlin and Red Square in the heart of the city. I particularly enjoyed my tour of the Armoury Chamber, one of the country’s oldest museums which holds, among other Imperial treasures, an incredible collection of Faberge Eggs. I also journeyed to the magical city of St. Petersburg, where I stayed at the historic Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace known for its prestigious location and impeccable grandeur. Attending an opera or ballet performance at the Mariinsky Theatre is a must on any itinerary, as is a private tour of the State Hermitage Museum and the extraordinary Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood famed for its beautiful mosaics.
