Day 1 Broome

Arrive at Broome Airport, where you will meet your representative for your private transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a shared pre-sunset camel ride on your way to your accommodation. This famous camel train, an icon of Broome, walks the sands of Cable Beach while you look out over the beautiful waters of the Indian Ocean.

Day 2 Broome

This morning meet your driver in your hotel lobby and depart on a half-day private sightseeing tour of Broome. See ancient rocky outcrops, rugged landscapes, pristine coastline and some of Broome's most iconic landmarks. Hear fascinating stories of Broome's colorful past that have shaped it into the multi-cultural community it is today. Your guide will point out highlights as you stroll along the white sand of Cable Beach. Afterward, drive past the Sun Pictures studio — the oldest operating outdoor theater in the world. To top off the tour, enjoy a Pearling Masters High Tea, and be captivated by 150 years of history as you discover how Broome's unique maritime and pearling heritage unfolded amongst the mangroves on the shores of Dampier Creek.

Day 3 Broome & The Kimberley

Today, meet your representative for your shared/scheduled transfer to Broome wharf. You'll be welcomed aboard the magnificent True North in the pearling port of Broome and sip a cocktail with your fellow adventurers before departing. Dinner is served shortly after leaving port for the overnight cruise to Yampi Sound.

Day 4 The Kimberley

Savor an irresistible True North breakfast as you cruise past Cockatoo and Koolan Islands. An attentive crew will introduce you to the colorful histories of both islands. Witness a Kimberley icon – The Horizontal Falls and experience the awesome power of the region’s huge tidal range on an exhilarating small boat ride, then climb aboard your helicopter for a view of the falls that very few get to experience. After, Leadline Creek will be your first opportunity to ‘land a barra’! End the evening selecting a fine wine and enjoy a leisurely meal during the cruise to Doubtful Bay.

Day 5 The Kimberley

This morning explore the Sale River. Fish the mouth for barra and then join naturalists and adventurers as you ride on a classic river expedition. Enjoy a swim in your very own billabong before returning to the supreme comfort of the True North. Partake in lunch as your crew weighs anchor cruises to another Kimberley icon – Montgomery Reef. Montgomery is a unique ecosystem that must be seen to be believed. See the impressive 140 square miles of coral reef that rises out of the ocean as the tide falls, exposing a privileged glimpse of another world. To top off your adventure, take in amazing aerial views of turtles, dugong, manta rays and other fascinating sea creatures from a helicopter.

Day 6 The Kimberley

The scenery will astound as you fish prime spots along the majestic Prince Regent River. At Kings Cascades your boat captain will maneuver True North right under the falls. Then it’s time to stretch the laces on your hiking boots and swim in yet another picture perfect billabong. You’ll feel like you are in the movie “Jurassic Park” as you ride in the helicopter gazing down at the wild landscape.

Day 7 The Kimberley

If you think the Regent was good, wait until you see the Hunter. With stunning red cliffs set behind rainforest and mangroves, the Hunter River is yet another awesome setting for fishing, mud crabbing, and exploring. Today, hike to the hidden Jackson Falls and take in even more scenic splendors from the helicopter. If time permits, enjoy a sunset drink on Naturaliste Island before the overnight cruise to Vansittart Bay.

Day 8 The Kimberley

Today there will be an opportunity to see the “Bradshaws” – possibly the oldest art known to man. The heli-picnic at Eagle Falls is always a hit where you will ride a helicopter to a scenic overlook and delight in a delicious picnic lunch amidst breathtaking scenery. Following, take a ride on a small boat to explore the local beaches and creeks.

Day 9 The Kimberley

Revel in another mighty Kimberley river on this divine day – The King George! As soon as the tide is high enough, True North will cross the sand bars at the mouth of the river to reveal an even more breathtaking river vista. Then your journey upstream will take you to the ‘jewel in the crown’ – The King George Falls. Your captain will anchor here at the base of the Twin Falls for you to disembark and traverse. You can climb, or take the helicopter, to the top of the falls. Then stroll at Tranquil Bay before visiting the frontier port of Wyndham.

Day 10 El Questro

In the morning, your courtesy coach will arrive to transfer you to El Questro. The crew of True North will already be looking forward to the next opportunity to welcome you aboard the True North. Upon arrival to El Questro, you'll see why it's known as the heart of the Kimberley. From its mighty mountains and its warm springs to its overflowing waterfalls, it's a true frontier, in its own right. Day 11 El Questro

In the morning meet your representative at the El Questro Airstrip and depart on a 2-hour private fixed wing tour of the Bungle Bungles. The Bungle Bungle Range, in the World Heritage listed Purnululu National Park, is one of the most fascinating geological landscapes in Western Australia. This air safari takes you on an unforgettable flight over the Bungle Bungle Range, Lake Argyle, the Argyle Diamond Mine and the Ord River Irrigation Area. You will also fly over the stunning Carr Boyd Ranges, Osmand Ranges, the Ord River and the Bow River.
