Andrew Harper Travel Journey Overview

I want to showcase the trip to Ireland I went on last year. Even though I was raised 100%  Italian, I also happen to to be 50%  Irish. When I told my guide about my mother's family name, his eyes widened. He said, for an Italian, I have one of the oldest Gaelic names; it translates to "The Keepers of the Bell of St. Patrick."

Days 11 & 12 Cork

Travel south to Cork, Ireland's southernmost city. With a history dating back to the 6th century, it was founded on islands in an estuary, where the River Lee joins the world's second-largest natural harbor. Waterways circle the city center crossed by over 20 bridges. You'll love hilly neighborhoods stacked with colorful houses that climb the river banks, as well as the narrow alleys and Georgian architecture.
