Overnight – The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs

Your private sailing boat is fast and nimble enough to explore the world-famous bay with ease, yet has the comfort, safety and ambiance to provide an exceptional day on board, enjoying the breeze and the view from the covered deck. Guided by our professional and knowledgeable crew, you will enjoy beachcombing, a light walk and lunch served in a sheltered cove.

Days 4 & 5: Taupo

Overnight – Huka Lodge

Enjoy a scenic flight to White Island, with aerial views of the active crater before landing on this lunar-like surface. Here you will be able to stand on and walk around the island’s active crater floor, viewing active steam vents fumaroles, hot streams, vibrant sulfur formations and the steaming crater. You will also land on the summit of Mt. Tarawera and enjoy spectacular views of the craters and domes formed by the 1886 eruption.

Day 6 – 8: Hawke’s Bay

Overnight – The Farm at Cape Kidnappers

Today’s cycle starts at Clifton near the base of the cliffs of Cape Kidnappers. From here you follow the coast for approximately seven kilometers, tasting wines at Clearview Estate and Elephant Hill along the way. On reaching Haumoana, you’ll turn inland and follow the Tuki Tuki River trail to the bustling village of Havelock North. A visit to the Origin Earth Cheese Factory and Tasting Room is a highlight for food lovers before continuing the short distance to Te Mata Estate winery.

Day 9 & 10 – Wairarapa

Overnight – Wharekauhau Country Estate

Located opposite Ocean Beach, Wharekauhau Country Estate offers beachfront cottage with a double spa bath, a warming fireplace and antique furniture. During this relaxing day of leisure, you can choose from a myriad of tempting options: Cape Palliser Seal Colony and Lighthouse Tour, Martinborough Winery Tour, Quad Biking, Clay Target Shooting, Hiking Mt. Wharekauhau and Cooking Classes.

Days 11 – 13: Nelson

Overnight – Edenhouse Luxury Lodge Day

On this leisurely trip through Abel Tasman National Park, you will experience some of the most magnificent coastline that New Zealand has to offer, where native bush meets golden sands and crystal clear waters are a playground for birds, seals and dolphins. As you explore the coast, your skipper will point out local seal colonies and secluded beach hideaways.

Day 14 & 15 – Christchurch

Overnight – Otahuna Lodge

Akaroa, an exquisite seaside town, once prospered as a French whaling station, is still rich with French, Maori and English culture. Akaroa Harbour is host to amazing bird life and sea mammals, including the world’s smallest and rarest dolphins, the Hectors Dolphin. From the town’s harbor, you will board a boat for a two-hour scenic cruise around the peninsula, passing sea caves and dramatic cliffs, on your way to visit a Hector dolphin pod.

Day 16 & 17 – Lake Wanaka

Overnight – Minaret Station Alpine Lodge

Explore this famously remote and untouched part of New Zealand by helicopter. Fly next to 2,000-foot waterfalls, traverse the majestic fiords, drop in amongst fur seals, forage for fresh lobster, hover over glaciers, land in the snow for photo memories against the mountain backdrop, and enjoy a gourmet BBQ picnic lunch up on the mountain skyline. This is a completely tailored experience and will unquestionably be a highlight of your trip.

Days 18 – 21: Queenstown

Overnight – Matakauri Lodge

This is a thrilling thirty-minute jet boat ride you’ll never forget! The Shotover Canyon walls tower over you as your driver skillfully whips the boat past rocky outcrops and skims around crags and boulders. This unique experience just may be the one you talk about most fondly once you arrive back home!
