About Aman Tokyo
Set in the top six floors of the Otemachi Tower in the heart of the financial district, a short walk from the Imperial Palace, this 84-room hotel is one of Aman’s few urban properties. Designed to evoke the feeling of being within a giant shoji lantern, the striking atrium lobby has 100-foot ceilings and two rock gardens. Elegant rooms reflect a contemporary interpretation of a traditional ryokan (Japanese inn) and feature pale pine floors, sunken living areas and floor-to-ceiling windows with impressive cityscape views. The chief amenity is a 27,000-square-foot spa with a 98-foot infinity pool. The property also encompasses a gym, a library and four restaurants and lounges, including Musashi for excellent sushi and sake and Arva, which serves an Italian-inspired menu augmented by a wine list with more than 1,200 selections.
