About Belmond Hotel Cipriani

This grand resort hotel, just a five-minute ride by private launch from St. Mark’s Square, is set amid lush gardens at the tip of Giudecca Island. The 96 accommodations, housed within the main building or in the adjacent 15th-century Palazzo Vendramin, offer garden, pool or lagoon views. Some also boast private balconies or terraces. Junior Suites with views of the lagoon are particularly recommended. Dining and bar venues include Oro, an elegant terraced Michelin-starred restaurant designed by Adam D. Tihany, Cip’s Club with its spectacular view of St. Mark’s Square and an informal alfresco poolside restaurant, as well as Gabbiano Bar, which was created by Giuseppe Cipriani, who also owns the legendary Harry’s Bar. The hotel has Venice’s only Olympic-size swimming pool, plus a stylish spa, a fitness center, a kids’ club and a clay tennis court. The property is closed from mid-November through mid-March.
